First Visit
Our first few sessions will involve an evaluation of your needs. By the end of the evaluation, I will offer you some initial impressions of what our work might involve. I encourage you to evaluate my ideas in conjunction with your own ideas. Take some time during these first sessions to see if you feel comfortable in the office and feel comfortable in your relationship with me. Not all therapeutic relationships are good matches.
Therapy involves a large commitment of time, money and energy. If you have questions about my interventions, please discuss them with me whenever they arise. If you ever have doubts about our work, I will be happy to talk with you about setting up a consultation with another therapist or to give you names of therapists you can consult on your own for a second opinion.
Please enter through the front door. You'll see the waiting room to the right as soon as you walk in. The publc restroom is through the blue double doors. Please feel free to help yourself to refreshments.
Please park on the street at least 15 feet from the mailbox.
